THE UNEXPECTED 🙏

THURS 20th APRIL ‘2023:

So today, I had an online meeting with an outstanding international company, who I contacted a wk ago regarding my book #TJOAHP

Because I haven't marketed it or promoted it as I had hoped or should have, 2yrs and four months later, it deserves to be! Anyway, GOD IS GR8, and I know that

‘NOTHING HAPPENS B4 ITS TIME’

I didn't even expect a video call, let alone and video meeting 😲🙏🤗

I feel so special & important right about now!!!

They were lovely, they told me who they were and what they did and then asked me to explain who I was what I was

Anyway the video meeting went excellent or better than I even expexted, though all I expected was an email response, so the fact that I was given more than that i.e. video meeting with 3 people... I AM Happy & grateful.

Obviously the main thing it comes down to is the WONGA, the MONEY to be able to do anything, which is why I've not been able to promote like id hoped, but also its about finding the right people (company) that also believe in me and what I'm about, my book!

If possible the added bonus of a company who can connect me with contacts, that are looking for someone (like me) with raw written material. 🙏

WED 8th FEB ‘2023

I am going to start #audio recording my book, per chapter and combine it into one. So there will be the option to either purchase per chapter or the full book, as it's all about options. 😉

You might not be interested in hearing the whole book, but drawn to a particular chapter instead 🤷‍♀️. Anyway, I won't know until I try it so, stay tuned and will keep you posted. 🤗

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW, I done it peeps, its official... my long awaited Memoir Book is now uploaded to Kindle awaiting to be reviewed and the made LIVE to the world!!!

I'm still can't believe it and probably won't until I am holding a copy in my hand, the PaperBack version which will be uploaded tomorrow.

Right now I am @home for the 2nd day, working on the remaining (never ending) final edit... when I should be on my way to work, making money instead of losing it!

This is the price you pay working as a contractor, if you take days off you don’t get paid. Simple!  

I have always been a workaholic but sometimes you have to look past the money you could be making and focus on finishing your own project... which is what I am doing and promised my #boss

I’d be back on-Site tomorrow 😳and I will be because I am going to F*CK’ing 😤finish the last reading/editing today  😡 - Excuse My Frustration 🤣

Are you a book-worm, author or aspiring / professional writer or the occasional reader! My question to you is (are you open-minded” to reading a ‘non-fiction’ Book... that is not of the norm standard layout i.e. 💯

Professionally written, edited by a grammar expert or ghost writer)?But instead written with a mixture of professional and raw, authentic writing... so the reader can feel as though the writer is actually speaking direct to them, if you know what I mean.

Why do I ask! Because this is how my ‘non-fiction’ Book has been written!  In order for me to be content and happy with my creative and informative writing... it was always important that the content reads like I always visioned like a📚'diary book'.

There is no such thing as perfection, only #truth #foodforthought #fact and #honesty in my Book - Yes, this will be my first published work which I will continue to learn and grow from each day. #Amen 🙏🏾

Trust me this is/has been challenging, stressful, very time consuming but also very exciting... all at the same time!!!! 

I love 💚the fact that my #Book is most def a little (rough-around-the-edges) which for me is perfect and hopefully for you too... the Reader!

I’m back going through my final edit of my book 📖 having not looked at it in over a mth 🙄

WHY? Because writing (non-fiction) is not easy, it’s tiring, draining, having to keep re-reading over and over, having to dig deep into your memory about specific things that you had locked 🔒 away, and it’s very time-consuming too!

But writing has always been my 1st passion, so I did not expect an easy ride when I finally managed to move forward and start working on my 1st book 🙏🏾 -

This is my baby 🍼 so I need to take my time and not rush it, BUT at the same time, I CAN NOT FAIL and NEED to get it done ASAP so it’s Published in time and ready to order in time for 🎄Christmas ‘2017🎄

WTF - REALLY MUM 😲

01:10am and I cannot BELIEVE the email that I have just received from my Editor helping me with my Upcoming Book!!! 

Just when I thought my so-called FORBES family couldn't get any worse, my Mum has read my 'Press Kit' and is calling me a LIAR 🤥 WTF!!! 

Really... all I can do is SMH and say "On My Life" EVERYTHING is TRUE, I've no reason to lie about my Upbringing. Simple!!!

Dear Ms Guice, I am writing to you with regards to the recent exert from a book which you are due to publish called The Hidden Journey of a Hidden Princess by Anikka Forbes. 

I am Valerie Forbes the birth mother of Anikka and I would like to express my deep concern that she has mentioned my name in this so called book. 

I have not been in contact with Anikka and have not given her any permission whatsoever to mention my name in a book let alone write about my mother who died nearly 6 years ago so cannot defend herself from such awful disgusting allegations.Ms V Forbes
