I worked by myself today dealing with maybe 200+ guests/customers and was shown so much luv and appreciation for my help and assistance provided.
There was a sweet lady called rose 🌹 she so cute! She was killing me with laughter, trying to match-make me and 1 of the security guys!
Though at first when she was coming over to me with him, I thought she was coming over to tell me she's found her husband... but instead she came over to tell me how beautiful and lovely she thought I was 😩 so sweet!
The live music was great and though it wasn't as busy, I enjoyed every moment!
Was in my element after my shift to have had some lovely food from the chef 🙏🤗

I woke this morning to the right hand swollen and gone to bed and STILL swollen, I can't even bend my fingers. Still can't believe all this is because of the heavy-handed push to my chest from that work colleague back in Sep ‘2021, is the cause of this suffering, pain and swelling!!

Attended St.Mary’s hospital, 6days later after assault. Was in too much pain, in shock and on my ‘P’ to attend any sooner, than today. I waited in total just under 3hrs I waited to see a doctor.

Sharing what I never thought I would ever experience, an #assault at work by a work colleague on Sat 11th 2021!
While in the cabin on-site at the HS2 project in North Acton. At the same time, employed by the unprofessional and disgraceful;
Atalian Servest Security Company.
Plus, to have the witness (another male) who I thought was also a friend... Lie and say he saw nothing! 🤬 WTF!
These men who think they can assault or abuse women and think we won’t speak out by Naming and Shaming them! Not me, mate, speaking my Truth!

MISS MY SIZE 12 😩

It’s that time again... my 4 nights come around too quick mate, honestly!!! I can’t believe it’s been nearly 2yrs since I’ve now been doing #security
The nights have been fine but boi has it changed my body 🙊 my size 10 is still surprising as it’s been years (late teens/20s) that I was that size. I miss my curvy 12 😩 but what can I do my on and off #workouts from 2018 onwards has also done its fair share along with the fabulous ‘body changer’ aka #bodymessiah 🔥🔥🔥
Now this is also something that has been detoxing and clearing out my body since I started taking it nearly 3YRS ago.👏👏👏
What to do... over 20yrs of always working days and now doing nights, but it would be good to get back to the norm of working in the day and chilling at night 😫 what to do!! #help 🤣

SO MUCH 4 TEAMWORK
WED 20th JAN ‘2021:
I can’t believe it! For seven full wks, I have been patrolling and managing the opening and closing of the Barrier, and now the constant pulling and closing of the barrier has taken its toll on my little wrists.
So being as there are x2 day Security on this project... one who sits in the cabin on the main site and me.
Anyway, I thought I’d call him to ask if he would mind rotating every week. You know, Team Work, mix it up... “Sharing is Caring.”
I have to say that I was surprised by his response as I generally believed he was going to be more than okay with the weekly change... but on the other hand, he would rather sit on his arse for 12hrs (minus his breaks) instead of actually doing any physical work.
The man said
“No, I don’t want to cover that section because it’s too hard”
😵like, really, WTF! So it’s alright for a female to do it, but him being a man... is telling me that covering the barrier and controlling who comes and goes is
“TOO HARD” is a Joke!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Really what he is saying... all the time, he is sitting around the corner doing NOTHING. He is laughing at me doing all the work. OK!
Anyway, I’ve emailed my area manager to implement this swoop, whether it be with the same (just sit and do nothing) guy or someone else; otherwise, I’ll have to stop working the five days and cover wkends (as and when) needed.
Or remain, but I will be leaving the barrier open 🤷♀️
So waiting to hear back.

NIGHT SHIFT
SAT 5th OCT ‘2019
It’s 22:54pm and the ‘Lady of Variety’ 👉ME👈 is sat in the cabin on-site.
Loving the quiet and calmness that the night time shift has, hearing the trains past even had a (cho cho) train 🚂 pass, not often u see one of them.
While people are out and about, in doors or in bed... im at work and if most def feels good to have the change of ‘days to myself’ and evenings/nights working.
Don’t know how long I’ll do ‘nights’ for but right now it’s most def all good... 🙌
About to go on patrol now... and wishing everyone an enjoyable and safe night.
Also sent a text to supervisors about cctv needed!

FRI 21st JUNE ‘2019:
It’s 23:34pm and I’ve sat on the no.18 Bus with my colleague Paul... as we’ve just finished working @WembleyStadium at the Bon Jovi concert.
We both got to work in the Club Wembley level 2, for the 1st time today...
The last 10mins of the concert was the BEST he played x2 of his top hit songs and I sang my heart out 😝 though I can’t remember which songs it was 🤣🤣
But it’s so NOT THE 1... finishing late because the traffic is Disgraceful 😏 so I’m not impressed.com and back at work tomorrow but thank god, not until 13:30pm
Either way it was a good day and it’s been ages since I’ve worked inside... so no regrets.
This is me and Paul on the bus... wishing the journey home is a speedy one. 🙏

WOW... In my 13yrs contracting, NEVER have I seen so many ‘Black Men’ at all Management Levels on 1 Project!!! 👊 🖤👌
Slowly but Surely, the Construction 🚧 Industry is 👉changing👈 with fab diversity and about time.
This is a FANTASTIC Project, and the Team, labourers and all are superb... all sites should lead by example with this job which proves #ethnicityisnobarrier 🤛
BUT more females... needed too!!! You have to be a strong, firm, down to Earth female who is not phased by men of any age, race, size or position... to succeed!
I was given the alias name in 2011, ‘The Lady In Control’ aka #TheLIC for no reason!!! Lol 😋
Anyone who worked with me... knows I’m fair BUT;

I’ve just got off the phone with my superb, real man, aka Dad... who told me I sound chirpy, having explained today’s scenario to him.
This morning my super weak of a Construction Manager at ‘Wilmotte Dixon’ informed me that my services are no longer required due to (in my 👀’s) being intimidated by me for being direct, outspoken and honest!
Another man, plus unable to handle that I am a Strong Lady ✊🏽who is no push-over and someone he couldn’t control!!! 🤫
So, for him to feel like he was in Control 🙄 he ended my contract!!! 🤪
No ‘WEAK’ man, in my opinion is a Leader, only a joker 🤡 who gets no Respect from me! #YerISaidIt 👊🏾

I woke up @7am and decided to text Matt (boss) from my computer to say I’d be in about 12’ish while waiting for my landlord to come, the message.
It went through, and I woke at 10 am... went had a wash and got back to my bed to get dressed then I heard my phone ring.
I picked it up from the bed and looked to see who was calling; it was Winnie (agency consultant); as soon as I saw her name, something told me that she was calling because Mr Baker had called to say;
MB:
‘he doesn’t want me to return
I was right... 🙄those were pretty much the words she said to me when I answered the phone, and she was like;
AGENCY CONSULTANT
“Hi, Anikka... I hear you not in work today and you left work early. I yesterday and ‘MB’ I didn’t know where you had gone”.
I honestly couldn’t believe what I was hearing... I’d been working there for eight months and taken on a role where I was doing my duties, helping plus assisting others and enjoying doing it because I was good at it.
So, to have Mr Matthew Baker (senior project manager) at Skanska... terminate my contract not because the project had/was finishing BUT because I was ‘too much’ for him to handle.
So, for him to have the last laugh, and I assure you, his been laughing!
Because he thinks he's better than everyone else because he is the Senior Project Manager... who can say what he wants (it’s his site) and let his position go to his head. Joker!!!
Winnie (consultant) said;
“he has offered to pay me a week’s notice.”
Winnie, 🤔thought that was nice of him to do that... Kmt! But hello, he had no choice but to do that as he wanted me not to return.
When she called back to say that MB didn’t want me to come in tomorrow (as my last day) nor could I return to collect any of my things... which was spiteful. BASTARD!!!
Instead, he’d get someone to take my things to reception... at this point, I felt violated!
