FRI 17th APRIL ‘2009:
Mum told me that Del went and took a few of his and _____ laptop to a cash and carry... then used the money to book a wkend, away to Paris for them both.
That boy is something else and to go and take her laptop when she needs it was a stupid thing to do, though the ‘get away’ gesture was sweet... even if it is out of guilt!
Me, mum and aunty. Marie went to visit jimmy’s place again. Mum and I got the shock of our lives... as it was not the same place that we saw 2wks ago. It was now fresh, spacious and homely too... I just couldn’t believe it but was impressed that he made the changes that he did and glad I went to have another look as I was 50/50 as to if I was going to take it.
I told Jimmy I would give him the final verdict (yes/no) tomorrow, just to keep him on his toes... though I was sure I wanted it now and to be neighbours with my older bro, so I could keep an eye on him too.
I also had another viewing tomorrow so would let Jim know after I’d seen this other one... that yes I want to move in.
